Victor M. Samperio, MD, CCRC
Born and raised in Baja California, Mexico
Dr. Samperio received his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Baja California – Mexicali. After completing a series of clinical rotations in the Texas Medical Center (Houston, Texas), he started working in clinical research where he quickly developed an affinity towards early phase trials in Oncology and Hematology.
Dr. Samperio is a certified clinical research coordinator currently working as one of our Sub-Investigators and as the lead on the development of research programs at Sun Valley Research Center. Outside of our office, Dr. Samperio is a professor at his alma-mater, works in case management at Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District (Brawley, California) and is a mentor to international medical graduates at International Medical Observers of Houston.
As of 2023, Dr. Samperio has completed the United States Medical Licensing Examinations required for eligibility to medical residency and will be applying to Internal Medicine this summer.
Marian A. Samperio, MD
Dr. Marian Samperio received her medical degree from Centros de Estudios Universitarios Xochicalco – Mexicali. Prior to that, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in French with a minor in Theatre Arts from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. She completed her medical internship in Houston, Texas then went on to work as a Research Coordinator for the Pediatric Critical Care Department at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Samperio has a high interest in the field of Pediatrics and is a huge Disney fan. She worked at the Disneyland resort in 2013 before entering medical school in 2014. Currently, she is working at Pioneers Memorial Healthcare District in Brawley, CA as a case manager in the Emergency Department.
As of 2023, Dr. Samperio has completed the United States Medical Licensing Examinations required for eligibility to medical residency and will be applying to Pediatrics this season.
