This is what we can do…
USMLE Mentorship
Remote
Is not easy being and an IMG…
It has never been, it will never be. So, what can we do? Well, during my time as a medical student I used to have a lot of questions, but people are busy, so where do I go? Sometimes you don’t need an entire lecture or a book, sometime we only need advice and being heard.
Every IMG will have different need, and our goal is to help you tailor your very own process. We don’t have all the answers, but we have people that want to help! And that all of this is about! Whether you need tutoring on Step 1, or a program to accept you for an observership, we got you.
Reach out to us and let us know how can we help today!
Did I mention we don’t charge? Yeap, we truly want to help.
Medical Observerships
El Centro, CA
For the past 15 years, Sun Valley Research Center has been a community-based research site that since its foundation back in 2008 by Dr. Bernardo Ng and Judy Galindo, CCRC, has been committed to providing state of the art cognitive and behavioral treatments in a caring and safe environment.
Striving for optimal mental health, will always be our core precept here at Sun Valley Research Center, and to protect this principle we have proudly created our very own academic program, to ensure future generations never lose sight of what matter the most: Quality patient care.
We hope, that by creating this program the words “Striving for optimal mental health” do not only remain at our core here at Sun Valley Research Center, but they transcend our institution and can be incorporated across the intercultural and multidisciplinary teams that contribute to the noble art of mental health care.
Medical Observerships
Houston, TX
In 2004, Dr. Díaz, a renowned pediatrician from Houston, Texas, and former professor at St. Joseph's Hospital had the vision of creating a program that would support international students in their academic aspirations, promoting an interdisciplinary and intercultural medicine.
Before he retired, he entrusted his program to, Ms. Mary Tello, who since then has protected and supported the precepts of the program, expanding it throughout Latin America.
In the year 2016, Dr. Arturo Sandoval was incorporated to the program as medical director, adopting the philosophy of the program and promoting the creativity of each student in the different areas of research and clinical sciences.
Today, we can proudly say this is one of the top tier programs in the whole Texas Medical Center and we are just getting started.
